Plan Revision Public Meetings (November 2017)

The Tonto National Forest will host eight Plan Revision Public Meetings in November 2017 to discuss the Preliminary Proposed Plan and any further ideas for revising the land and resource management plan (Forest Plan). Each meeting will be help between 5pm - 7pm at the locations below (draft agenda and meeting venues are still being finalized). These meetings will also include the Wilderness Recommendation Process and the Wild & Scenic Rivers Eligibility Study

As a reminder, the Tonto National Forest published a Notice of Intent to develop the Revised Tonto National Forest Plan and associated Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) in the Federal Register on April 6, 2017. The Forest Service allocated a 45-day scoping period, which ended on Monday, May 23, 2017. For more information on the Notice of Intent click here.
